Building a Better Prefilled Syringe for Vaccines

Webinar | May 6, 2022

When it comes to packaging a vaccine for delivery, choosing the right application is not always a straightforward decision. While vials have the ability to hold more doses of the vaccine, allowing for more vaccinations, and vial components and filling lines are more widely available to drug developers, prefilled syringes allow for easier administration, reduced risk of contamination, minimized risk of injuries during use, and improved accuracy. In order to ensure a safe and effective delivery, it is important for vaccine developers to consider the benefits of both applications based on the requirements of the drug product.

In this webinar, industry experts will discuss the benefits and challenges of transferring vaccines from vial applications to prefilled syringes, the components critical to the success of the vaccine products, and how to prepare your packaging toolbox for time-critical vaccine development and distribution.
